This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible. Be
aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take
shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-107 degrees across Vieques and
Culebra. Heat exhaustion possible with prolonged exposure.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution across
the Atlantic waters and passages.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly along the northern and northeastern beaches
of PR and Culebra.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A wet and unstable weather pattern is expected to persist through
early next week. A series of troughs will promote thunderstorms
and excessive rainfall across the area, enhancing the potential
for flooding across the islands. Wind-driven seas and a subsiding
northerly swell will maintain hazardous conditions to small
crafts and life-threatening rip currents through today.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
